Job opportunities / We can offer you a wide range of career paths for making the most of your talent. We’ll do everything we can to empower your career progression in line with your ambition and interests. Here are a few roles you could start your journey with:
- Photonics Engineer: you’ll design and develop devices with lasers and optical sensors, run tests to improve them, and work with teams to bring these technologies to market. You’ll also optimise existing systems for better performance and reliability.
- Optical Systems Designer: you’ll create and test optical setups with lenses and lasers, perform simulations, and troubleshoot design issues. You’ll also play a big role in integrating these systems into applications in telecommunications and biomedical imaging.
- Photonic Chip Test Engineer: you’ll use our test setups to perform measurements with our in-house automation software and perform electro-optical measurements on PICs. You’ll also work closely with PIC designers to close the loop between measurement results and design.
- PIC Validation Engineer: you’ll validate PIC building blocks and integrated full circuit designs. As well as designing and performing validation, qualification and reliability tests, you’ll work with a team to contribute to the design and build of test setups and participate in (or lead) RCAs.
- Quality engineer: you’ll ensure product reliability by implementing and maintaining quality management systems, conducting inspections, and addressing process deviations. To ensure we meet performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction standards, you’ll collaborate with our design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
